Our Terms and Conditions

 ONE 2 PASS DRIVING SCHOOL

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF TUITION

1. General

These Terms & Conditions form part of your agreement with One 2 Pass Driving School. By booking, making payment for, or attending any driving lesson, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

All driving tuition is provided on a one-to-one basis by a DVSA-registered driving instructor.

2. Fitness to Drive

You must be fit to drive for every lesson.

You must inform your instructor immediately of any medical condition, prescribed medication, driving conviction, or change to your driving licence which may affect your ability to drive.

A valid provisional or full UK driving licence must be produced at the first lesson and whenever requested.

If, in the instructor’s professional opinion, you are not fit to drive, the lesson may be cancelled and charged in full.

3. Lessons and Punctuality

Lessons will start and finish at the agreed time.

If you arrive late for a lesson, the lost time cannot be added or refunded.

If the instructor is delayed by more than five minutes, the time will be added where possible or rearranged.

Lessons are normally conducted on a one-to-one basis. Additional passengers are only permitted by prior agreement.

4. Cancellations and Non-Attendance

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or rearrange any lesson.

Any cancellation made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or failure to attend a lesson for any reason, will result in the full lesson being charged.

This includes, but is not limited to, illness, work commitments, childcare issues, forgotten appointments, or transport problems.

No refunds or credits will be given for late cancellations or non-attendance.

5. Repeated Late Cancellations

If a pupil incurs three late cancellations or non-attendances, whether consecutively or over time, One 2 Pass Driving School reserves the right to terminate tuition immediately.

In such circumstances, any prepaid lessons will be forfeited and no refund will be issued.

6. Payments and Refunds

Lesson fees must be paid in advance or at the start of the lesson unless otherwise agreed.

All payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

This includes block bookings, intensive courses, deposits, prepaid lessons, and unused tuition.

If tuition is terminated for any reason, no refund will be given for any remaining lessons.

7. Suspension of Lessons

If lessons are suspended for a period of 12 weeks or more, One 2 Pass Driving School reserves the right to terminate tuition and forfeit any remaining prepaid lessons.

8. Driving Test Readiness and Use of Instructor Vehicle

The decision as to whether a pupil is test-ready rests solely with the instructor.

If, in the instructor’s professional opinion, the pupil is not driving to a safe or test-ready standard, demonstrates unsafe or inconsistent driving, has failed mock tests, or lacks lesson continuity, the instructor reserves the absolute right to refuse the use of their vehicle for a practical driving test, with or without notice.

No refund will be given for lesson fees, test fees, or unused tuition in such circumstances.

9. Driving Test Bookings

Where a driving test is booked on behalf of the pupil, all test fees must be paid in advance.

Once booked, driving tests are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of outcome or cancellation reason.

10. Damage to Instructor Vehicle

During lessons and driving tests, the pupil is responsible for any damage caused through careless or dangerous driving, up to the level of the instructor’s insurance excess.

11. Behaviour and Conduct

A professional and respectful approach is required at all times.

Abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour towards the instructor will result in immediate termination of tuition, with no refund of any fees paid.

12. Instructor Cancellations

In the unlikely event that a lesson is cancelled by the instructor, the lesson will be rearranged or credited. No further compensation will be offered.

13. Events Outside Our Control

One 2 Pass Driving School shall not be liable for lesson or test cancellations caused by events outside our control, including severe weather, vehicle breakdown, illness, or DVSA test cancellations.

14. Instructor Availability

Lesson times are subject to instructor availability. While every effort will be made to maintain continuity, specific days, times, or instructors cannot be guaranteed.

15. Data Protection

Personal data will be stored securely and processed in accordance with UK data protection legislation. Data will only be used for the purposes of providing driving tuition and related administration.

16. Complaints

Any complaints should be raised in the first instance with One 2 Pass Driving School. If unresolved, the matter may be referred to the DVSA Registrar of Approved Driving Instructors.

17. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England, Scotland, and Wales.

18. Acceptance of Terms

Booking lessons, making payment, or attending any lesson constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in full.
